Borde Hill Garden Plant Fair Roadshow

Garden lovers looking to enjoy a balmy late summer day out should head for Borde Hill Garden in Haywards Heath, West Sussex on Sunday 15th September when the garden plays host to a specialist Plant Fair Roadshow as well as the annual Sculpture Exhibition.

Visitors will have the opportunity to buy a range of fantastic plants direct from some of the UK’s finest growers and seek advice on those pesky plant pests from BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time panellist and plant pathologist, Pippa Greenwood (pictured left) who will be providing a talk at 3pm on ‘Keeping Pests at Bay the natural way‘. Booking for Pippa’s Talk is £10 per person – in advance see https://www.bordehill.co.uk/event/pippa-greenwood/

The Plant Fair Roadshow runs from 10am to 3pm and while at Borde Hill, visitors can take time to stroll through the 17 acre garden and view over 100 sculptures as part of its 20th anniversary annual Sculpture Exhibition which runs until 30th September.

Entry to the Plant Fair is £7 per person (please note you have to book Pippa’s talk separately as this is not included in the admission price.)

The late summer splendour in Borde Hill’s gardens extends across panoramic views over the lakes and 200 acres of rolling parkland. During September visitors will be able to enjoy a host of stunning late flowering perennials, including dahlias, crocosmias, acteas, sedum and hydrangeas.
