Captivating Judi Dench Rose now available

The Dame Judi Dench (Ausquaker) rose from David Austin, launched at this year’s RHS Chelsea, is set to captivate rose lovers.

Described as a rose as magnificent and radiant as the lady herself, this beautiful rich apricot rose with its ruffled petals, paling towards the edges, certainly lends a certain radiance.

Dame Judi’s career has spanned decades, encompassing both stage and screen. When she was presented with the rose at the 2017 RHS Chelsea Flower Show she commented: “…. Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet …. Isn’t it beautiful“.

The rose has a lovely light-medium tea scent with a fresh note of cucumber and a hint of kiwi and is a vigorous grower that is particularly reliable and healthy.

The shrub rose is of the English Musk Hybrid type and is repeat flowering. It reaches a height of 4ft and a width of 3ft. The arching stems will encourage many side shoots, which produce a generous second crop of blooms.
