Help Manchester city centre bloom

The prestigious Manchester Flower Show will be celebrating the start of summer and the Queen’s Jubilee weekend when it returns in 2022. The Show will bring fabulous floral trails, gardens and green installations across the city centre from 2nd to 5th June offering the chance for the Greater Manchester green-fingered community to showcase their talent.

Festival organisers are calling out to professional and amateur gardeners, florists, landscapers, businesses, charities and schools across the region to be part of the city’s annual urban floral extravaganza. Participation is free with no cost for using the spaces allocated, although displays are required to be self-funded and can either be a garden or large display or a smaller more bijou container garden.

Local businesses and offices in the city centre are also being encouraged to show their support by greening or floralising their shop fronts and offices. There are also opportunities for flower, plant, produce, artwork and ceramics traders at the festival’s Flower Market.

The deadline for completed applications is Friday 22nd April 2022.
