Garden Museum Lit Fest 2022

The 2022 Garden Museum Literary Festival is being held at Chatsworth, Derbyshire, generously hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire (pictured below left) and Lord and Lady Burlington on 23rd June and Friday 24th June 2022.

The boutique annual festival is the UK’s only travelling Lit Fest, having previously visited some of the country’s prestigious houses including Petworth and Helmingham Hall.

Celebrating the best in garden writing over a summer’s weekend for all who share a love of gardens and what inspires us most the festival has become a major event on the gardening calendar.

The exciting line-up of speakers includes lectures by some of the UK’s most influential garden designers and authors. During the weekend there will well be opportunities to explore the magnificent gardens at Chatsworth.

This year, speakers include (on the Thursday 23rd June), Alan Titchmarsh in conversation with the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and Head of Landscape, Steve Porter. Luciano Giubbilei, Mary Keen Tim Richardson and Tom Stuart-Smith. On Friday (24th ) speakers include Shane Connolly, Catie Marron, Jo Thompson and Xa Tollemache.

Information/Tickets (weekend and day available) for the Festival (also including admission to Chatsworth House) are available from: https://gardenmuseum.org.uk/events/garden-museum-literary-festival-2022/
